We (Laura, Rachel, Claire and Emily) met over ten years ago whilst working within the NHS, eventually going on to establish Talk Speech and Language Therapy in 2012. We have steadily grown our skilled team to meet demand for independent Speech and Language Therapy, driven primarily by word of mouth and positive recommendation. We are very enthusiastic about what we do, our approach and the positive outcomes we create.
We passionately believe that the ability to communicate effectively is critical, it plays an essential role in how we learn, how we relate to each other and how we integrate into society. Speech and Language Therapy is crucial to breaking down the barriers that communication difficulties can create.
Our expert team have a wealth of knowledge and experience in Speech and Language Therapy both privately and within the NHS. We provide extensive services in over 35 schools and settings across Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and North Somerset.
Our clinic and complex needs outreach services privately cater for children and families in the region and beyond.
Our specialist skills include; language disorders, speech sound difficulties, stammering, selective mutism, autism, ADOS assessment, behavioural difficulties, youth offending, paediatric and adult dysphagia, sensory feeding, early years development, profound & multiple learning difficulties and AAC.
All of the Talk family are directly employed by us, fully qualified Speech and Language Therapists, DBS checked, have HCPC registration and are members of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
